Autowatch was established in Durban, South Africa in 1969, and has regional sales offices in Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, UK, and Sweden. In November 2012, the company acquired Pi-Shurlok based in Pietermaritzburg. The production plant is now based at these premises. Working closely with customers, Autowatch can take products from concept design to manufacture seamlessly, or build-to-print from major first-tier suppliers. The company is driven by customer satisfaction and integrity, forming strong relationships and offering comprehensive technical support.
 

Autowatch supplies products to manufacturers, the aftermarket, major fleet and freight companies, and the public transport sector. In South Africa, Autowatch products reach the market via a network of approved Fitment Centres, and by direct sales to large fleets. Around two thirds of Autowatch products are exported via a network of dedicated global distributors. Autowatch is certified  with ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, FORD Q1, VDA-6 , as well as OEM certified and is a first-tier supplier.
